F.M. Bridges, 74, died from a stroke of paralysis at his home, 1001 North Davidson street, Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Mr. Bridges suffered the stroke eight weeks ago and failed to recover from it.
The funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be at Elmwood cemetery.
The deceased was born in Virginia, but has been living in Charlotte for the past 46 years. He was connected with the J.H. Wearn company of this city.
He is survived by his wife, five sons, four daughters, three sisters and one brother.
