On Tuesday night of the last week a party of married folks and young people enjoyed a dance at G.C.Kilpatrick’s new house near the brickyard. The costumes for the occasion were overalls for the boys and aprons for the girls. Piano music was enjoyed and music for the dancers was made by a small orchestra of stringed instruments. Sandwiches and coffee were served.
Those present were: Mrs. Charles Weaver, Mrs. Ed Gillespie, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Merrill, Misses Mary Sledge Louise Erwin, Mabel and Nellie Miller, Maud Kilpatrick and Miss Reed; Messrs. Grady and Guthrie Kilpatrick, Louie Loftis, Francis Sledge, Pat Hook, Ed. Cantrell, George Hanger, Loyd Baker, Ted Clement, Walter and Frank Duckworth, and Muller Albert.
