Charlotte, July 2—Lester Stillwell, well known citizen of west Mecklenburg, was drowned in the Catawba river today about 1 o’clock. He was swimming with a party of friends and got caught in the swift current of the river. He was 30 years old and unmarried. The body was recovered.
