Wilson, July 9—The citizens of the town held a meeting last night at the chamber of commerce rooms at which time an organization for the support of the charitable work of the town was organized.
The organization will be known as the Wilson Relief Association. Officers were elected as follows: president Theo. Hinnant, vice-president Elmer Oettinger, recording secretary Mrs. H.E. Pillars, treasurer Ed Warren.
Presidents of the chamber of commerce, Merchants’ association, Kiwanis and Rotary clubs, Woman’s Club, Business and Professional Women’s club and other public organizations of the board were named on the board of directors.
