The following are the teachers in the Wilkesboro High School for the year 1923-24, and grade:
1—Miss Frances Somers
2—Mrs. Warner W. Miller
3—Miss Mattie Hemphill
4—Miss Louise Greene
5—Mrs. William Barber
6—Miss Mary Swanson
7—Miss Ernestine Webster
Those in the high school department are: Mrs. Julius C. Hubbard, Miss Eliza Mason Capehart, Mrs. R.B. Pharr, (Miss Mary Swanson will teach part time in high school), Miss Maude Glover, domestic science, and Prof. J. Ralph Weaver as superintendent.
