Epperson, superintendent of the Durham county health department, arrests are due to be made during the coming week of persons residing in the city and county who persist in refusing to make sewer connections from the premises to mains along the streets where such accommodations have recently been completed.
The legal notice upon such matters, according to Dr. Epperson, is 15 days. It is stated, however, that many persons have had as much as 60 days notice. About 225 persons have been served with notices and of this number only about five per cent have complied with the law, it is brought out.
