The annual business meeting of the Ann Jackson Book Club was held at the home of Mrs. Milton Tiddy, the club president, on last Monday afternoon, and the following new officers were elected to serve during the ensuing club year: President, Mrs. M.H. Huhn; Vice-President, Mrs. Thorne Clark; Recording Secretary, Mrs. R.R. Reinhardt; Treasurer, Mrs. John Ramsaur; Orphoplat, Mrs. John Rees.
From the Lincoln County News, Lincolnton, N.C., Monday, June 2, 1924
Orphoplat is a medical term, so perhaps its a typo? I don't know what office Mrs. Rees held.
