Associate professors in the University whose promotion to the rank of professor was announced at commencement are Thorndike Saville, Otto Stuhlman, W.G. George, John W. Lasley and A.W. Hobbs.
Assistant professors who become associates are Albert Shapiro, A.S. Winsor, and E.V. Kyser.
Instructors who become assistant professors are A.C. Howell and G. Wallace Smith.
