Sanford, Jan. 23—A human petrified finger from the right hand was found this afternoon by Casey Jones, superintendent of construction work on the Wilrick hotel, in the water jacket of an engine on the cement mixer.
He carried the finger to two local doctors who pronounced it a human finger. Mr. Jones said they had been using the engine 10 years, so evidently it has been in there that length of time, as there was no chance of it to get in their other in the initial assembly.
