The annual Civic Club Bazaar will be held Thursday afternoon, January 29th, at the Municipal parlors.
The following committees have been appointed to make arrangements for this event:
Fancy work—Mrs. Elms, Mrs. Blair
Country store—Mrs. R.N. Page Jr.
Candy—Mrs. C.P. Everest
Fish pond—Mrs. J.S. Milliken
Flowers—Mrs. J.J. Stroud
Refreshments—Mrs. Heyward, Mrs. Mudgett
Food—Mrs. Tracy, Mrs. Van Camp and Mrs. Allen
All ladies who are interested in the work of the civic club are asked to give one or more aprons to the Fancy Work Committee, as well as other articles that they might give to other departments.
The Bazaar will begin at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon and continue through the afternoon.
The Civic Club Bazaar is one of the prominent annual events of the season and always attracts a large attendance, especially ladies who enjoy the social features as well as the attractive articles for sale.
