Editor Sandhill Citizen:
There has been some remarks in your paper about Evolution. I would enjoy your putting the following comments that is culled from two papers:
“Divorces in our country for 1923 show we enjoyed 1 divorce to every 7 marriages. In 1916 there was one to every 16. During the year 1924 there was one-fifth more divorces and 1-15th fewer marriages per 100,000 population than in 1916. Divorces granted last year totaled 148,554, or an increase of 36,518 over 1916.”
It is a well known fact that the anthropoid ape from which the evolutionists came, courts his wife early in life and sticks to her throuout life—until death do us part. It is a shame that the evolutionists have sunk lower than their forefathers, in our modern life.
