Mr. George W. Isley, formerly of Wilkesboro, died last Saturday morning at the home of his brother, Mr. John Isley of Burlington, and was buried Sunday near Burlington. Mr. Isley was 67 years of age, and leaves a wife, son and daughter, Mr. Henry Isley of Lumberton and Miss Margaret Isley of Greensboro. He had been sick since Christmas with Influenza and Bright’s disease. Dr. J.M. Turner, brother-in-law, was called to his bedside last Tuesday, January 13th.
Mr. Isley moved from Wilkesboro to Greensboro about five years ago, where he had made his home until recently. He was a faithful and most {devout member??] of the Methodist church for many years.
