Handley Pharmacy Sold to Clayton Man, April 6, 1926

Drug Store in This City Sold. . . Handley Pharmacy Disposed to Clayton Man, Providing Court Okehs [Okays]

A large number of interested persons yesterday morning attended the public sale of the stock and good will of the Handley Pharmacy, corner of John and Walnut streets, and the bidding for a while was rather spirited.

The sale was finally made to a Mr. Benningfield of Clayton for a consideration of $6,275, subject to confirmation by the courts.

This store was owned by the late E.R. Handley, whose death occurred recently.
