“We have just had a busy Easter season,” stated Mr. M.J. McPhail, Tuesday. “We shipped flowers to 14 states right out of Sanford.”
How few people even realized that there was any concerning Sanford or the Sandhill section that shipped its products in 14 states. The fact that Mr. McPhail for all these years has supplied the trade in many states with flowers that perhaps as much as any other factor, helped to put Sanford on the map.
Dr. D. Carl Fry is Mr. McPhail’s representative in Carthage and Moore county. Mr. Fry has been making some records with Mr. McPhail since he started in with the latter a few years ago. The Sandhill section is proud of both McPhail and Fry, and when they put their heads together there is bound to be something in the making for the section.
