Lincolnton, May 9—Dr. Gordon B. Crowell, age 30 years, prominent and brilliant young surgeon, associated with his father, Dr. L.A. Crowell, in the operation of the Lincolnton hospital, died at this hospital at 7 o’clock tonight. He had been ill with influenza for the past week.
