The mortal remains of Mrs. I.S.D. Sauls who passed away at Washington, D.C., on the previous day, were interred in Willow Dale cemetery yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The commitment service of the Christian Science Church of which she was a member, being used.
The body was accompanied to Goldsboro by two daughters of the deceased, Mrs. J.D. Eason and Mrs. H.A. Bartholomew, and their husbands.
The many beautiful floral tribunes attested to the esteem in which Mrs. Sauls was held by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.

I believe it's proper to refer to her church as the Church of Christ, Scientist, but am leaving it the way the newspaper identified the local church.
