Opening of the
Colored Graded School
The Colored Graded School will open on Monday, August 25th,
and will continue nine months as usual.
Parents and guardians are especially requested to have their
children in on the first day or some day during the first week, so they can be
properly graded and get the correct start. The law requires that all between
the ages of 8 and 14 to attend regularly.
