Mr. Walter Beddard

Mr. Walter Beddard, a printer by trade, and who was well known in this city where he worked for the P.D. Gold Publishing Co., passed away at his home in Fremont. He was a courteous and industrious mechanic and was faithful in his efforts to give his employer service and do his whole duty. Though afflicted he was always willing to do his part, and altogether possessed commendable traits of head and heart, which won for him the esteem of all.

His death was caused from influenza-pneumonia, and he leaves a mother and two sisters.

Mrs. C.A. Jones

Mrs. C.A. Jones, wife of the president of the Atlantic Motor Sales Company of this city, died yesterday and was buried this afternoon from their late residence in Scotland Neck.

The lady was highly esteemed among a large circle of friends, and she will be greatly missed.
