Concrete Bridge Across Black River Nearing Completion, Jan. 11, 1921

The concrete bridge across Black river, midway between Duke and Dunn, which has been in process of construction for some time, is nearing completion. With the completion of the new bridge the Duke-Dunn highway will be a splendid stretch of road. The distance between the two towns is only four miles, and with the completion of the bridge the two towns of Harnett will be seemingly nearer to each other than ever before.
