We learn that the Seaboard Air Line will in short time install gates on 1st street opposite the Terminal hotel. This is a very dangerous crossing indeed, and gates should have been placed there many years ago, which would have undoubtedly saved this company many thousands of dollars. Knowing this to be a dangerous crossing, why the railroad has hesitated and waited to so long, is beyond our conception.
