First Reformed Church Dedicating Pipe Organ, Sept. 15, 1921

Reformed Church to Dedicate Organ

The congregation of the First Reformed Church is making plans for a pipe organ dedication on Sunday at 11 o’clock. The organ was built by M.P.Moller Pipe Organ Company of Hagerstown, Md., and is a handsome instrument with fine quality of tone.

The organ was installed a few weeks ago, but the congregation wanted to pay for it in full before dedicating it. Rev. Charles E. Schaeffer, D.D., of Philadelphia will be present and preach the dedicatory sermon. He will also preach at night. Dr. Schaeffer is general secretary of the Board of Home Missions of the Reformed church in the United States and is one of the most eloquent preachers in the denomination. A large attendance is expected.

There will also be fine programs of music by an augmented choir at both morning and night services.
