Prof. Stinson and Myers Street School, Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 15, 1921

Prof. Stinson

The colored citizens of Charlotte have reason to congratulate themselves on the showing made at the opening of the Colored Schools.

The Myers Street School, where the complete High School has been organized, is the largest school from standpoint of numbers in the old North State. Prof. Stinson has his school well organized and under splendid control. He has under him 30 teachers, four of whom teach solely in the High School Department. The Chairman of the Board of Education commends Prof. Stinson to the highest, and the Star of Zion through its temporary editorial writer, congratulates the boys and girls under him.
