Two Men Killed in Road Work at Elkin

Winston-Salem, Sept. 17—Troy Collins, aged 40, and his 18-year-old son were crushed to death; E.D. Murphy sustained a broken leg, a mule was killed and a wagon demolished near Elkin, yesterday afternoon, by a cave-in of a large embankment of dirt and rock in the Elkin valley which a force of men were excavating for good road building.
