Rev. Wallace Hartsell Visits Father, Rev. P.H. Hartsell, Who Is Seriously Ill, Feb. 3, 1922

Stanly “Boy” Visits Old Home

Rev. Wallace Hartsell of Burnsville, Yancy County, passed through this city Wednesday on his return to a visit to his father, Rev. P.G. Hartsell, at Big Lick, who is rather seriously ill at present. Rev. Mr. Hartsell is working in a new field, being the general enlistment man in charge of the Yancey Baptist Association. He says there are two Stanly men in Burnsville, Mr. Don Littleton, former of Eastern Stanly, and Mr. Fletcher Lambert, formerly of the Mission section of Western Stanly. They are both making good, he says, in Yancey Count, and he is very proud of them. Mr. Lambert is one of the instructors in the Baptist School at Burnsville.
