Miss Annie Lee Crisp returned Sunday from Lenoir where she had been visiting relatives for a few days.
The play given in behalf of the Methodist Church here Saturday night was a success. The play will be given in Boone at an early date.
Mr. Cameron A. Williams and wife, recently of California, have returned to Blowing Rock. We are glad to welcome them back. Mr. Williams says there is no place like the Old North State.
The theatre and hotel on Mr. W.L. Alexander’s estate are being rapidly put up. Many other new buildings are being erected at the Rock.
Last Friday night Miss Mary Holshouser conducted the prayer meeting services at the Presbyterian church. The young people are taking an active part in the church work. This is the right spirit.
