Mrs. Baity, Mrs. Horn, Both of Statesville, Have Died, June 11, 1922

Mrs. Baity Dead

Statesville, June 10—Mrs. Jane Baity, aged 84, died last night at the home of her son, W.T. Baity, on Race Street. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Holly Springs church. The deceased was the wife of the late G.A. Baity of Iredell county, and is survived by her only son, W.T. Baity. She was the last survivor of a family of 11 children.

Mrs. Wilford Horn

Statesville, June 10—Mrs. Wilford Horn died this morning at her home in Olin township near Eupeptic Springs. She was 75 years of age and had been a sufferer from heart trouble for several years.

Mrs. Horn was a native of Davis county, and is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. L.S. Edison of Statesville, C.H. Horn of Sharpesburg township, Mrs. J.I. Thomas of Statesville, W.H. Horn of High Point, Mrs. Mary Messick of Cooleemee. One brother, Preston Griffith of Davie County, also survives with the following sisters: Mrs. W.B. Mason of Iredell County; Mrs. Carson Guffie of Rowan County, Mrs. Henry Turner of Rowan County.
