Mrs. Thomas S. Shatterly, 59, years of age, died at her home, 829 Worth street, last night at 10 o’clock. Mrs. Shatterly had been ill for about two weeks. Surviving are her husband, T.S. Shatterly, two daughters, Miss Effie Shatterly, of Greensboro and Mrs. Kate Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, C.c. Shatterly of Portsmouth, N.H., and J.L. Shatterly of Greensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ingold of Guilford County and Mrs. Fannie Long of Swepsonville; and one brother, W.H. Shoffner of Asheville.
A short funeral service will be held at the home this afternoon at 12:30 o’clock and the body will be taken to Friendship church near Kimesville, where the funeral will be held at 3 o’clock, Rev. H.C. Sprinkle conducting the services. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
