Women of Littleton Fill Stockings for Soldier Patients at Oteen, Dec. 23, 1922

Oteen Soldiers Get Christmas Stockings from Littleton Ladies

Soldiers at Oteen at this Christmas season enjoy the fruits of work in their behalf by the women of Littleton. Stockings, stuffed as old Santa Claus only can, and filled with $30 worth of gifts, have gone to former service men at Oteen from the local Woman’s Club.

The supplies were collected under the direction of Mrs. A.H. Newsom, and her assistants, Mesdames P.A. Spruill, John H. Harrison and John Gay. The Christmas box was packed by Mrs. McM. Furgerson, Mrs. C.E. Foster and Mrs. Peter Spruill.

The gifts were sent through the American Red Cross.
