Co. H. of the N.C. National Guards, Capt. George Plott in command, stood an annual inspection Friday evening at the armory near the railway station by Lieut. Bertholot of the U.S.A. Cavalry, who reports the men and property in good condition. Two officers and 53 men of the machine gun unit reported for duty.
Sergeant W.B. Duncan of the Signal Corps, Canton, is ordered here for drills twice a month.
