Mr. Andy Newton had a pretty severe accident at Cora mill crossing Thursday when a passenger train struck his truck. The truck was demolished and Mr. Newton badly hurt. He arrived at the crossing just as the train was clearing and the passenger train shot out from behind the freight and was on him before he had time to get away.
