Unmasked Man Whips Man Told to Move On

Rocky Mount, Nov. 20—A man named Moore, who has been employed on highway construction work between Nashville and Bailey, was taken from him room at the hotel to a spot some 10 or 12 miles from Nashville Sunday night, whipped, lectured, and left to walk back to Nashville, with notice that it would be better for him to move on, according to reports gathered in authoritative sources at the county seat today.

According to these reports, the members of the band which whipped the man were unmasked but were not recognized.
