North Carolina Expects 8,000 to Graduate from High School in 1924, Compared with 1,500 in 1921.

8,000 High School Graduates the Present Year

Eight thousand children will be graduated from the high schools of the state at the end of the 1923-24 session, it was announced in Raleigh by Governor Morrison after a conference with Supt. A.T. Allen of the department of public instruction. Morrison expressed gratitude at the figures, stating that this compared with 1,500 graduates three years ago, showing a remarkable growth.
