Eight thousand children will be graduated from the high schools of the state at the end of the 1923-24 session, it was announced in Raleigh by Governor Morrison after a conference with Supt. A.T. Allen of the department of public instruction. Morrison expressed gratitude at the figures, stating that this compared with 1,500 graduates three years ago, showing a remarkable growth.
