Greensboro, Nov. 17—Mrs. Charles C. Patterson, aged 30, died in a local hospital this morning at 11 o’clock from the effects of pistol shot wound inflicted last night about 9:30 o’clock when she sent a steel jacketed bullet from a .45 caliber revolver through the region of the heart. She was the wife of the secretary to A.D. Shelton, general superintendent of the northern division of the Southern Railway Company. Death was directly due to internal hemorrhage.
