Goldsboro, Nov. 21—Fire broke out in the storage warehouse of the Tobacco Growers’ Co-operative Association here at 12:45 o’clock this morning, and half an hour later the structure, containing a large quantity of leaf tobacco received from members, appeared to be doomed. At that hour the fire was still beyond control of the firemen and was spreading to nearby dwellings.
Estimates of the amount of tobacco in the warehouse could not be obtained.
