The University Musical Clubs, consisting of the Glee Club, Carolina Club Orchestra, vocal and instrumental soloists, under the direction of Paul J. Weaver, started the state tour most auspiciously here Tuesday evening when the organization gave a most enjoyable concert which was heard by a fair-sized audience.

Three Reidsville boys appeared on the program and their appearance on the stage was a signal for hearty applause from the “folks back home.”
The performers went from here to Winston-Salem.
