Miss Emily Morris, the advance agent, and Miss Frances Maxwell, superintendent of the Chautauqua, were guests of the college last week.
Miss Helen Brett and Miss Ella Mae Parker spent last Sunday with their parents in Mapleton.
Last Sunday afternoon the following were Chowan representatives at the group meeting of the B.Y.P.U.’s of this association at Como Baptist church: Misses Minnie Caldwell, Mary Nellie Holt, Edna Mills, Gladiola Parker, Ruth Wilkins, Catherine Fleetwood, Thelma Draper, Janice Balentine, Ila Leary, Camilla Manson, and Emily Sessoms.
Misses Edna Gunn and Fannie White were guests at dinner in Ahoskie last Sunday evening.
The Chautauqua was an intellectual treat to all, and the college was fortunate in having some of the performers as guests during their stay.
Last Monday evening Miss Della Latham entertained the following at a delightful dinner at Mrs. Babb’s: Misses Caldwell, Sarah Hughes White, Matthews, and Mrs. Lawrence.
Misses Inez Matthews and Della Latham spent last Sunday with Miss Matthews’ parents in Windsor.
Miss Bessie Jordan of Severn spent last weekend with Miss Edna Gunn.
Misses Knott and Matthews motored to Jackson for supper Sunday afternoon.
Misses Latham and Robinson entertained at a dinner party in honor of Misses Frances Maxwell and Emily Morris, guests of the college during Chautauqua season.
Misses Caroline Lane, Fannie White, Inez Matthews, Edna Gunn, Della Latham, Eloise Merony, Una Robinson, Minnie Caldwell were entertained at a “sunrise breakfast” 9 o’clock Monday morning by Misses Elsie Gordon and Gertrude Knott.
The Omega Pi’s were delightfully entertained last Sunday evening by Misses Hilda Matthews and Thelma Peterson. The “eats” were exceptionally good, including good ham, salad, fried chicken, fruit salad, cake and seafoam candy.

Mr. R.L.H. Hedgepeth of N.C. State College was a visitor at Chowan Thanksgiving Day. Miss Della Latham spent Thanksgiving with Miss Evelyn White in Severn.
Misses Camilla Manson, Willia Thompson and Moella askew were the guests of Mrs. Paul Sewell last Thursday.
Miss Ella Mae Parker spent Thanksgiving with her grandmother, Mrs. Wiggins.
Misses Eloise Merony and Edna Gunn motored over to Aulander for dinner last Thursday.
President Chas. P. Weaver and W.A. McGlohon, college treasurer, drove to Norfolk Thanksgiving to see the Washington and Lee-N.C. State football game.
