Mr. and Mrs. H.S. McLean of Lakeview ask The Pilot to extend to the citizens of Lakeview their thanks for saving their home from fire last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. McLean were attending church in Vass and did not know of the fire until they reached Lakeview after services.
The fire originated on the roof near the chimney.
