Greensboro, Feb. 11—Robert, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. McIvin, of this city, fell off the arm of a settee at the home of his parents this morning and broke his neck at the base of the brain. The child lived for 20 minutes, an X-ray picture after death showing the injury.
The boy was listening to his sister play the phonograph and lost his balance, falling only two feet, but landing on his head.
