Chicago, Feb. 5—Edward Nadle, 40, killed himself today when his wife telephoned to tell him that the Court had ordered his immediate appearance for refusing to pay her $2,000 alimony allowed under a decree of separate maintenance.
“All they’ll get is my dead body,” Nadle shouted through the telephone in answer to his wife.
A shot was heard over the phone, and the Judge stopped proceedings while Mrs. Nadle went home to investigate. She found her husband dead.
