Luther Barrier Died While Sitting on His Porch, June 4, 1924

Death of Luther M. Barrier

Luther M. Barrier, well known farmer of No. 8 township, died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home. Mr. Barrier was sitting on the front porch of this house when stricken and he was dead when friends reached his side.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Barrier was about 60 years of age and lived alone. He is survived by one brother, Frank D. Barrier of Concord, and one sister, Mrs. R.O.S. Miller of Concord.

Mr. Barrier was well known throughout the county and the announcement of his death has been received with sorrow in his wide circle of friends.
