Dr. J.L. White, formerly pastor of the First Baptist church of this city, accompanied by Mrs. White, who now live in Miami, Fla., where Dr. White is pastor of the first church there, was a visitor in Durham on Monday. Dr. and Mrs. White while here were the guests of Mrs. J.H. Allen. Dr. White has been assisting his son at a series of meetings in Clayton. He will return through Durham during the last of the week, en route to Asheville, where he will spend a short while before returning to Miami.
