Charlotte, Sept. 9—The Charlotte fire department last night became a “first aid to the locked out.” A Charlotte citizen, name withheld, found himself locked out of his home at an early hour today. He called the fire department by telephone. A truck was sent to the scene. A ladder was placed so he could reach a second story window. The citizen got in and the firemen returned to their slumbers.
