Chapel Hill’s Dodge garage will be opened for business within a couple of weeks, according to Ralph Pendergraft, who is the agent for the car in Orange county.
The location of the garage will be on Franklin street near Carrboro. The building formally occupied by Young’s garage is being remodeled and put into shape for Pendergraft to give modern service to car owners of Chapel Hill. There will be two driveways to the building and storage room for about 30 cars. Two wash pits are being constructed where Alemite service will be rendered.
Pendergraft, a former University student, will continue the wash service that he has conducted in the space next to the telephone station, in his new location.
