Announcements received in Chapel Hill during the holidays revealed the secret marriage of Miss Carrie Dyne Carmichael Edmund of Lumberton to William Tucker Hannah of Waynesville, in Durham shortly before the holidays.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hannah are students in the University law school and have returned to complete their courses here. Both will receive law degrees in June.
The bride attended the Pineland School for Girls and Guilford college, and has been a student in the law school here for the past two years. She is the daughter of Mrs. Agnes McL. Edmund of Lumberton.
The groom received his A.B. degree from the University with the class of 1922. Upon receiving his LL.B. next June, he will take up the practice of law with his father, W.J. Hannah of Waynesville.
