Farmers Invited to Attend Nearest Terracing Demonstrations, March 23 and 24, 1926

District Farm Agent to Visit County Tomorrow. . . T.S. Millsaps Will Attend Terracing Demonstrations to be Given in the County

E.S. Millsaps of Statesville, district farm agent, will be present at several terracing demonstrations to be given in the county tomorrow, March 23rd.

The demonstrations have been arranged by R.D. Goodman, county farm agent, and Mr. Goodman will be assisted in the work by Mr. Millsaps.

Mr. Goodman stated this morning it is planned now to have modern machinery at some of the demonstrations so the farmers can be shown just how terracing can be done best.

The schedule for the day follows:

W.E. White farm, No. 7, 9 to 11 a.m.

Sam Black farm, No. 10, 1 to 4 p.m.

The demonstrations will be continued Wednesday by Mr. Goodman at the following farms:

George C. Heglar from 9 to 11 a.m., and Jack Wilson, on Gold Hill road, from 1 to 4 p.m.

“All farmers interested in terracing should attend one of these demonstrations,” Mr. Goodman stated.
