Philadelphia, May 8—Chalmers E. Cornelius of Mooresville, N.C., has been appointed intern at the Methodist Hospital of Philadelphia, Pa. Cornelius is a student in the Medical school of the University of Pennsylvania, where he will complete his course in June.
Cornelius is the son of Mrs. C.E. Cornelius, 54 South Broad street. He is a graduate of the Mooresville high school and of the University of North Carolina.. Prior to coming to the University of Pennsylvania, Cornelius completed two years of medical work in the Medical school of the North Carolina institution.
Cornelius is a member of Theta Kappa Psi Medical fraternity.
