Four Boys Died Last Wednesday From Careless Handling of Guns, Jan. 7, 1921
Four boys died last Wednesday from careless handling of guns. Hubert Yoder, a 15-year-old boy of Hickory, was shot by another boy with whom he was walking. Dewey Lohman of Burke county slipped and shot himself with a rifle he was carrying. James braxton, a 13-year-old boy of Kinston was accidentally shot by a gun in the hands of a 15-year-old playmate. Vernon Branton accidentally shot himself with his own gun.
