“Business this fall is 50 per cent better than it was at this season last year,” Mr. Leigh Sheep of the Woman’s Wear Store said Friday. “In spite of the hot weather, we have sold a large number of fall garments including fall suits for a large number of students. In times past, people waited until a cold wave to buy winter wear. Now they have learned to buy at the beginning of the season and to be ready for the cold weather on its sudden arrival.”
