The Rowan Wholesale Grocery company has leased one of the large store rooms in the Hanes building in Winston-Salem and has opened for business with a general stock of groceries. The new firm is opening in Winston in connection with its Salisbury house.
Mr. W.J. Leonard, formerly of Salisbury, is in charge of the Winston-Salem business. This new wholesale house has already opened for business and has a fore of salesmen calling on the trade in this city and section.
