Frank Bond, Harry Smith Found Guilty of Assaulting Miss Viola White, 16, and Mrs. Arthur Edwards, 17, Dec. 12, 1922

Bond and Smith Fined $300 Each and Costs

Frank M. Bond and Harry Smith, the defendants in the sensational Edenton case in Superior Court last week, who were charged with assault with intent to commit assault on a female, were found guilty, and each of the defendants were sentenced to pay $300 and all costs.

The parties on whom the assault was committed were Miss Viola White, 16-year-old Edenton girl, and her sister, Mrs. Arthur Edwards, 17 years old. Arthur Edwards was held as witness to the assault which occurred on October 18.
